The Laser Microwave Jet Engine uses lasers and microwaves to heat a mixture of compressed air and water to create hot gas for thrust. Air from the intake area (Figure 1) is compressed and injected with water (or another microwave absorbent material). The mixture is then heated with microwaves and lasers to produce hot gas. The hot gas is pushed out as exhaust to produce thrust.
