Abstract A laser-recording film prepared by applying a recording medium containing a non-self-oxidizing binder such as ethyl cellulose, graphite and a heat ray absorber having a strong absorption of YAG laser on a transparent support. When this film is irradiated with YAG laser beams, the recording medium is easily transferred to a receptor sheet to form an image thereon with a high degree of resolution, without any residue of the recording medium remaining on the substrate.
