The invention relates to a laser source consisting of a laser cavity (1) that can emit an optical beam (5) and a guided optic element (3). Said guided optic element comprises the following in one substrate: an input guide area (G¿1?) comprising a mirror which is concave in at least one guide plane of the input area in such a way as to create an extended laser cavity with the laser cavity; an output area (G¿3?) comprising at least one microguide (9) which is associated with at least one optical output (S¿1?) of the source; and a planar accommodation guide area (G¿2?) between the input area and the microguide. The input guide area can receive the optical beam emitted by the cavity and transmit the beam to the accommodation guide area which subsequently guides said beam towards the microguide. The invention is suitable for use in all fields requiring a laser source with only a few modes and, in particular, in the field of optical telecommunications.

L'invention concerne une source laser comportant : une cavité laser (1) apte à émettre un faisceau optique (5), un élément d'optique guidée (3) présentant dans un substrat: une zone (G1) de guidage d'entrée comportant un miroir concave au moins dans un plan de guidage de la zone d'entrée, de façon à réaliser avec la cavité laser une cavité laser étendue; une zone (G3) de sortie comprenant au moins un microguide (9) associé à au moins une sortie (S1) optique de la source, et à une zone (G2) de guidage planaire d'adaptation entre la zone d'entrée et le microguide, la zone de guidage d'entrée étant apte à recevoir le faisceau optique émis par la cavité et à le transmettre à la zone de guidage d'adaptation qui le guide vers le microguide. L'invention trouve des applications dans tous les domaines nécessitant une source laser à peu de modes et notamment dans le domaine des télécommunications optiques.
