A laser transponder (1) for disabling a laser-based speed monitor (7), which is transmitting a monitor laser beam at a moving vehicle by transmitting a jamming laser beam to the laser-based speed monitor. The monitor laser beam is in the shape of a monitor signal (8; s1; sm) comprising monitor pulse trains (65) emitted with a first frequency f1, while the jamming laser beam is in the shape of a jamming signal (11; s2; sj) comprising jamming pulse trains (67) emitted with a second frequency f3.

L'invention concerne un transpondeur laser (1) servant à désactiver un détecteur (7) de vitesse à laser, qui émet un faisceau laser de détection vers un véhicule en mouvement en transmettant un faisceau laser de brouillage au détecteur de vitesse à laser.
