- 12 - LASER WIRE STRIPPER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A laser wire stripper in which energy from a laser (60) is focused to a first point (76) and then to a curved reflector (84) and refocused to a second point (90) displaced from the first point (76) by an amount which permits the insertion of a strippable wire (78) therebetween, the wire (78) being laterally moved generally along a line between the two points so that the beams alternately cut the wire insulation from one side and then the other.
