ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A latch assembly for use with a tackle box or other container is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a latch top segment, a latch bottom segment and a receiver, all of which may be manufactured by injection molding. The latch assembly includes the feature that no separate pins or rivets are required either to assemble the components or to attach the latch assembly to the container with which it is em- ployed.
