ABSTRACT A latching device for latching a drawer to a drawer slide having a notch in its upper surface has a rail with a horizontal web and an upstanding flange along one edge. Connection points are provided on the flange for connecting the rail to the side of a drawer. A one-piece resilient plastic catch has a relatively inflexible body which is snap-coupled to a cooperating snap-coupling attachment means on the web, a relatively flexible neck which is molded integrally with the body, and a relatively inflexible head molded integrally with the neck. When the body is snap-coupled to the web, the head passes through a slot in the web for engagement with the notch in the upper surface of the slide. The head is pivotable upwardly by flexure of the neck relative to the body to release the engagement of the head with the notch.
