4907 ABSTRACT A moulded thermoplastics latching member for assembly to a substantially rectangular electrical connector housing, comprises a body portion defining a pocket for receiving an end of the housing, a hooked flexible latch arm extending from the body portion for the purpose of latching the housing into a hole in a panel when the latching member has been assembled to the housing. The body member is provided with opposed flanges for resiliently engaging over ribs on opposite faces of the end of the housing to secure the latching member thereto and abutment faces for engaging the panel to secure the housing in the hole in the panel in co-operation with the flexible latch arm.
