A lateral pipe lining material is inserted into a lateral pipe that intersects with a main pipe. The lateral pipe lining material includes a flexible tubular resin-absorbing material impregnated with an uncured liquid curable resin and a flange member joined thereto. The flange member comprises a flange part having an arcuately curved surface whose curvature corresponds to an inner surface of the main pipe, and a cylindrical part that extends from the flange part. The tubular resin-absorbing material has one end folded back outwards. The folded-back end of the tubular resin-absorbing material is fitted onto the cylindrical part of the flange member and pressed out over the flange part of the flange member. An adhesive is applied to the flange part of the flange member and the folded-back end of the tubular resin-absorbing material to bond the tubular resin-absorbing material to the flange member, thus producing a lateral pipe lining material in an uncomplicated manner with few members.
