- 5 - TITLE LAUNCHER INVENTOR John LAVOIE ABSTRACT A novel launching device to launch an aerodynamic disc toy discloses the use of a track that traces out the locci of points of a semicircle and then transforms along a margin thereof. coincident with the semicircle, a tangential extension. The diameter of semicircle of the locci of points is coincident with the diameter of the aerodynamic disc so that the disc is captured therein. By horizontally swinging the launcher with the disc in the track, the launcher moves the disc from its semicircular abutment therewith to run along the straight track and thus to commence to spin thereby imparting to the disc both momentum and spin whereby aerodynamic flight ensues as soon as it is released.
