ABSTRACT In applications where the liquid level in a laundry tub, sump, or other waste vessel is automatically controlled on an infrequent basis, a pressure control switch assembly in direct contact with the waste liquid, is also connected to the discharge line of a pump such that when the liquid level exerts sufficient pressure to cause the pressure control switch to depress and engage the pump, a portion of the discharge water of the pump is recirculated to the pressure control switch maintaining the pressure thereon until all of the liquid in the vessel is exhausted. This alleviates any problems of fluctuating pressure due to the dynamic flow characteristic of the waste water being discharged.
