Abstract A polyamide mixture in powder form is disclosed for use in hot- sealing of textiles by the powder-spot process. The mixture comprises (a) 95 to 40% by weight of a copolyamide having a melting point of 110 to 140°C and a content of 20 to 70% by weight of lauric lactam, and (b) from 50 to 60% by weight of a copolyamide having a melting point of 80 to 110°C and a content of 25 to 70% by weight of lauric lactam or lauric lactam and 11-aminoundecanoic acid. The mixtures are washing and cleaning resistant and provide improved adhesion.
