ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed herein is a lawn mower including a blade housing, wheels for supporting the blade housing for movement along the ground, a rotary cutting blade supported in the blade housing, and an internal combus- tion engine carried by the blade housing and rotatably driving the rotary cutting blade. The engine includes a carburetor having a throat, the throat having opposite ends, and at least one fuel passage communicating with the throat intermediate the opposite ends of the throat. A pivotable throttle control is positioned in the throat and is pivotable to vary fluid flow through the carburetor. The throttle control includes means for providing greater air flow through a portion of said throat adjacent said fuel passage than through other portions of said throat adjacent said flow restricting means as said throttle control is pivoted to increase fluid flow through said carburetor.
