A method for making a lawn mower deck is disclosed, which method comprises providing a sheet blank (9) of a mouldable material, forming in a housing portion of said sheet blank (9) a housing (2) for a cutter, cutting the sheet blank in a one-piece shape comprising the housing portion and a protruding portion (3), bending the protruding portion (3), so as to bring an attachment portion (5) of said protruding portion (3) in contact with said housing (2), and fastening said attachment portion (5) to said housing (2). Also disclosed is a lawn mower deck, comprising a housing (2) for a cutter, and a protruding portion (3), which protruding portion (3) is bent such that an attachment portion (5) thereof is in contact with said housing (2), wherein said attachment portion (5) is fastened to said housing (2), and wherein said housing (2) and said protruding portion (3) are formed in one piece.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un châssis de tondeuse à gazon, lequel procédé comprend la fourniture d'une découpe de feuille (9) constituée d'un matériau moulable, la formation d'une partie carter de ladite découpe de feuille (9) en un carter (2) pour un élément de découpe, la découpe de la feuille en une forme d'un seul tenant comprenant la partie carter et une partie en saillie (3), le pliage de la partie en saillie (3), de manière à amener une partie de fixation (5) de ladite partie en saillie (3) en contact avec ledit carter (2), et la fixation de ladite partie de fixation (5) audit carter (2). L'invention concerne également un châssis de tondeuse à gazon comprenant un carter (2) pour un élément de découpe, et une partie en saillie (3), laquelle partie en saillie (3) est pliée de telle sorte qu'une partie de fixation (5) de celle-ci soit en contact avec ledit carter (2), ladite partie de fixation (5) étant fixée audit carter (2), et ledit carter (2) et ladite partie en saillie (3) étant formés d'un seul tenant.
