ABSTRACT In order to provide proper ejection of grass cuttings and to minimize clogging or obstruction of the flow of grass cuttings from the housing of a lawn mower having a plurality of rotating cutting blades the capacities of side-by-side laterally disposed lawn mower housing chambers are so proportioned that the discharge of grass clippings from a first chamber is advanced into a second chamber dimensioned to accommodate both the clippings from the first chamber and the clippings produced within the second chamber. There are also disclosed arrangements for control and direction of the grass cuttings from the discharge duct of the mower housing to minimize clogging.
