Low dielectric constant layered materials and a methof for making said layered materials comprising the steps of: a) providing a surface ; b) spinning a dielectric material on to the surface; c) curing the dielectric material to form a dielectric layer; d) spinning a low dielectric constant material on to the dielectric layer; and e) curing the low dielectric constant material to form a low dielectric constant layer. Each layer can be spun-on to the layered component and subsequently cured before additional layers are added or all layers can be spun-on to the layered component and then the entire stack is cured at once.

L'invention concerne des matériaux stratifiés à constante diélectrique faible, et un procédé permettant de fabriquer ces matériaux stratifiés consistant: a) à utiliser une surface; b) à appliquer par centrifugation un matériau diélectrique sur la surface; c) à cuire le matériau diélectrique pour former une couche diélectrique; d) à appliquer par centrifugation un matériau à constante diélectrique faible sur la couche diélectrique; et e) à cuire le matériau à constante diélectrique faible pour former une couche à constante diélectrique faible. Chaque couche peut être appliquée par centrifugation sur l'élément stratifié puis, cuit avant l'ajout de couches supplémentaires, ou encore, toutes les couches peuvent être appliquées par centrifugation sur l'élément stratifié, l'ensemble de empilement pouvant être cuit en une seule fois.
