The invention relates to a significantly improved lead (1) consisting of a strap (12) or leash comprising a carabiner (11) at a lower end and at an upper end a preconfigured holding loop (2) and/or a loop that can be adjusted by clipping a carabiner into eyelets in the lead. Said lead permits even an animal that is pulling strongly on the lead to be held in check, by means of a hand grip (3) that is located in the holding loop (2, 22), or adjacent to said holding loop (2, 22).

L'invention concerne une laisse (1) sensiblement améliorée, constituée d'une bande (12) ou d'une courroie et comportant, à une extrémité inférieure, un mousqueton (11) et à une extrémité supérieure, une boucle de maintien (2) pré-configurée et/ou ajustable par insertion d'un mousqueton dans des anneaux de la laisse. Cette laisse permet de maîtriser même un animal exerçant une forte traction. A cet effet, une poignée (3) est disposée dans la boucle de maintien (2 ; 22) ou à proximité de cette boucle de maintien (2 ; 22).
