IMPROVEMENTS TO LEAD-ACID STORAGE BATTERY CELLS Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to improvements to lead- acid storage battery cells. The invention provides, in a cell of a lead-acid battery including a set of separator elements between each positive plate and each negative plate, a compression force being exerted against the cell, microporous separator elements on each side of a positive plate which project on the plate and a line of epoxy resin around the positive plate to hold the active material within the positive plate. The application of the present invention is to lead-acid storage batteries for motor cars.
