ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lead frame for an electret microphone consists of thin metallic material shaped with two continuous rectangu- lar plates. One forms the base plate for an amplifying unit included in the electret microphone and the other forms the rear electrode of the electret microphone. One or more leads are included in the frame and connected to one of the plates.
