A lead-free tin alloy for solder joints comprising up to 0.25 % by weight of indium and a grain refiner which is an alloy consisting of, by weight, 2.5 to 10 % aluminium, 1 to 5 % magnesium and balance zinc. The alloys have improved mechanical properties, such as creep strength, and an improved thermal fatigue strength.

Cet alliage d'étain, dépourvu de plomb et destiné à des joints à braser, comprend jusqu'à 0,25 % en poids d'indium ainsi qu'un produit d'affinage du grain constitué par un alliage contenant en pourcentage pondéral, 2,5 à 10 % d'aluminium, 1 à 5 % de magnésium, le solde étant constitué par du zinc. Ces alliages possèdent des propriétés mécaniques perfectionnées, comme la résistance au fluage, ainsi qu'une meilleure résistance à la fatigue thermique.
