ABSTRACT An apparatus is disclosed for separating leaves, debris, dirt, and sediment from rain water. The apparatus is comprised of a drawer-containing accumulating device insertable in the leader pipe bringing rain water from a roof by way of a gutter. The drawer in the device contains a screen for sepa- rating leaves and debris from rain water. The drawer is periodically removed and emptied.
