Opposite to the magnetism sensing surface of a magnetism-sensitive element group, there is provided a soft magnetic body larger than the magnetism sensing surface. In this way, the detection width per sensor is increased, thereby reducing the required numbers of the sensors and signal processing circuits in the cross direction.

Selon cette invention, opposé à la surface de détection de magnétisme d'un groupe d'éléments sensibles au magnétisme est formé un corps magnétique souple supérieur à la surface de détection du magnétisme. On augmente ainsi la largeur de détection par capteur, ce qui réduit le nombre requis de capteurs et les circuits de traitement des signaux dans le sens transversal.
