The leather strap has embedded therein a reinforcing member consisting of two flexible blades of metal or syn- thetic material, one end of these blades being rigidly connected to the watch case while the other end is hinge- dly connected to the clasp. This reinforcing member not only improves the rigidity of the leather strap but also keeps the strap open when the clasp is open while imparting a harmonious curvature to the strap. - 1 -
