A universal mounting (10) supports high intensity LEDs in a lighting fixture with heat removal and electrical connection facilities. A holder portion (12) includes a peripheral sidewall defining a cavity (26) for accepting a printed circuit board assembly (16). A support member supports the printed circuit board assembly (16) along the peripheral sidewall. Electrical contact elements are provided the printed circuit board. A thermal conduction member (18) is in thermal communication with the printed circuit board assembly (16). A receptacle portion (14) removably engages with the holder portion (12). A plurality of contact sockets (24) conductively engages the electrical contact elements of the holder portion (12) to interconnect the contact elements to external wires (36). An aperture in the receptacle portion (14) accepts the thermal conduction member (18), wherein the thermal conduction member (18) passes through the aperture and into a space for dissipating heat from the printed circuit board (16).
L'objet de la présente invention concerne un montage universel (10) supportant des DEL (diodes électroluminescentes) dans un luminaire et doté de dispositifs de dissipation de la chaleur et de branchement électrique. Une partie support (12) comprend une paroi périphérique définissant une cavité (26) destinée à contenir un ensemble carte de circuit imprimé (16). Un membre support maintient l'ensemble carte de circuit imprimé (16) le long de la paroi périphérique. On trouve des éléments de contact électriques dans l'ensemble carte de circuit imprimé. Un élément à conduction thermique (18) est en communication thermique avec l'ensemble carte de circuit imprimé (16). Une partie réceptacle (14) s'insère, de manière amovible, dans la partie support (12). Une pluralité d'alvéoles de contact (24) s'insère de manière amovible dans les éléments de contact électriques de la partie support (12) afin de relier les éléments électriques aux fils externes (36). Une ouverture située dans la partie réceptacle (14) accepte l'élément à conduction thermique (18), ledit élément (18) passant à travers l'ouverture et rentre à l'intérieur afin de dissiper la chaleur qui se trouve dans la carte de circuit imprimé (16).
