An LED floodlight fixture (100) includes a housing (10) that has at least one end-portion (12), a single-piece extrusion ( 20) including (i) a base (22) having an LED-adjacent surface (220) and an opposite surface (221) and (ii) a heat-dissipating section (24) having heat-dissipating surfaces (241) extending from the opposite surface, and an LED arrangement (30) mounted to the LED-adjacent surface in non-water/air-tight condition with respect to the housing. The housing preferably forms at least one venting gap (14) to provide cool-air (3) ingress to and along the heat- dissipating surfaces by upward flow of heated air (5) therefrom. Additionally and/or alternatively, the base of the single-piece extrusion has one or more venting apertures (28) to provide cool-air ingress for such purpose. One aspect of the invention involves the heat-dissipating section of the extrusion including a wireway (26) therealong enclosing wires extending to/from electrical component(s).
L'invention porte sur une lampe à DEL (100) qui comprend un boîtier (10) qui a au moins une partie d'extrémité (12), une extrusion d'un seul tenant (20) comprenant (i) une base (22) ayant une surface (220) adjacente aux DEL et une surface opposée (221), et (ii) une section de dissipation de chaleur (24) ayant des surfaces de dissipation de chaleur (241) s'étendant à partir de la surface opposée, et un dispositif à DEL (30) monté sur la surface adjacente aux DEL dans une condition de non-étanchéité à l'eau/air par rapport au boîtier. Le boîtier forme, de préférence, au moins un intervalle de ventilation (14) pour fournir une entrée d'air frais (3) pour et le long des surfaces de dissipation de chaleur par un écoulement vers le haut d'air chauffé (5) à partir de celles-ci. De plus et/ou en variante, la base de l'extrusion d'un seul tenant comporte un ou plusieurs évents (28) pour fournir une entrée d'air frais à une telle fin. Un aspect de l'invention met en jeu la section de dissipation de chaleur de l'extrusion comprenant un chemin de câbles (26) le long de celle-ci, enfermant des câbles s'étendant vers/à partir d'un ou de composants électriques.
