The present invention relates to a light fixture that is comprised of several elliptical light distributing LEDs located in the center of a unit-type lens. One or more unit-type lens structures and their associated LEDs can be stacked to form the light fixture. The LEDs are arranged around the horizontal circumference in such a way that the wider divergence angle of each LED 1 is oriented horizontally. The unit-type lenses are stacked and fastened with a screw that runs through the bosses. The horizontal light distribution characteristics of the LEDs can be made nearly concentric with only a few LEDs, thereby making it possible to uniformly distribute light horizontally. It is also possible to make the lighting fixture lighter and smaller. By increasing or decreasing the number of unit-type lenses to be stacked, the number of tiers can be easily changed. By using such LEDs with an extremely wide horizontal divergence angle and a much narrower perpendicular divergence angle than those of conventional LEDs, lenses and the process for forming lenses become unnecessary, resulting in lower costs.
