In vehicles, it is knows to have a bulb which flashes on and off when the turn signal is activated. The bulb stays on when the vehicle is running straight & it flashes when the turn signal is activated. This device, as it is used in automobiles, however, displays the drawback that when a vehicle ("lead vehicle") makes a turn (or changes lanes) & when the visibility conditions are poor, a single bulb at times does not attract the immediate attention of drivers following the lead vehicle.
