ABSTRACT An optical system, particularly useful in a watch, com- prising a transparent sheet having one plane surface and the other surface comprising a multiplicity of parallel lenticular lenses. A first composite image is formed of a multiplicity of spaced apart parallel strips with transparent strips or voids therebetween. A second composite image on a second image sheet is positioned beneath and spaced from the first composite image. The first image is viewable when viewed along one angle and the second image is viewable, through the transparent strips, when viewed along a second angle. An object, such as watch hands, is positioned between the first and second images, so that the object is viewable through the transparent sheet and the trans- parent strips only when the second composite image is being viewed.
