A towed rotary cutter has a main frame defined by the cutter housing supported at its rear by ground wheels that are coupled to the frame through means of a pivotably mounted axle. A hitch is pivotally mounted at the front end of the frame and carries a clevis assembly at the forward end thereof. A pair of parallel, transversely spaced leveling rods extend between the hitch and wheel axle with the rear ends of the rods being defined by eyes that are received on respective pins formed integrally with the opposite ends of a cylindrical equalizer bar that is pivotally mounted to the axle. These pins are radially spaced in opposite directions from the pivot axis of the equalizer bar. The forward ends of the leveling rods are pivotally coupled to the hitch with one of the rods including an adjustment for changing its effective length extending between the axle and hitch.
Débroussailleuse rotative tractée constituée d'un bâti principal défini par le corps de la débroussailleuse, supporté à son extrémité arrière par des roues qui sont couplées au bâti par l'entremise d'un essieu relié par un assemblage à pivot. Une attache est reliée par un assemblage à pivot à l'extrémité avant du bâti et comprend un étrier de remorquage à son extrémité avant. Une paire de tiges de mise à niveau parallèles, espacées transversalement, s'étendent entre l'attache et l'essieu des roues, les extrémités arrière des tiges se terminant par des oeillets que reçoivent les goupilles respectives faisant partie intégrante de chaque extrémité d'une barre de stabilisation cylindrique laquelle est reliée par un assemblage à pivot à l'essieu. Ces goupilles sont espacées radialement en sens contraire par rapport à l'axe du pivot de la barre de stabilisation. Les extrémités avant des tiges de mise à niveau sont couplées par un assemblage à pivot à l'attache, une des tiges comprenant un ajustement afin de modifier sa longueur réelle entre l'essieu et l'attache.
