he quality of air in mine tunnels is a vital element in workers' health. To increase workers' productivity, it is therefore important that the number of machines moving about in the tunnels be reduced to a minimum. Existing graders currently have no access to certain parts of the tunnels, such as the stopes. In addition, the cost of buying and maintaining them is high. Furthermore, existing detachable devices, consisting of a vertical blade attached underneath a machine, are too large for the space available between the front and rear wheels of mining machines, and this space is already in use for other purposes. Moreover, the ground surface in mine tunnels is so rough that such blades would be useless because their height would have to be constantly adjusted. The present invention, consisting of a detachable device that can be attached beneath existing mining machines, eliminates the need for graders in mine tunnels, and increases air quality and workers' productivity. The device facilitates the levelling of areas inaccessible to existing graders because the machines to which it is attached have been designed to reach such areas. Because of its low profile, the invention fits perfectly into the space available below these machines. In addition, the position of its anchorings allows it to adjust automatically to ground conditions. Finally, it requires no mechanical maintenance and it costs less than the graders which are customarily used.
Dans les conduits souterrains miniers, la qualité de l'air est un élément primordial à la santé des travailleurs. Ainsi, il est important que le nombre de machines y circulant soit réduit au minimum, la productivité des travailleurs étant augmentée d'autant. Les niveleuses actuellement utilisées n'ont pas accès à certaines parties de ces conduits, telles que les chantiers. De plus leur coût d'acquisition et d'entretien est dispendieux. D'autre part, les appareils amovibles actuellement utilisés et fixés en-dessous de la machinerie, consistant en une lame verticale, sont trop volumineux par rapport à l'espace disponible entre les roues avant et arrières des machines minières, cet espace étant déjà utilisé à d'autres fins. De plus, la surface du sol desdits conduits étant trop cahoteuse, une lame y serait inutile puisque sa hauteur devrait sans cesse être ajustée. Ainsi la présente invention consistant en un appareil amovible fixé en-dessous des machines minières existantes anéantie le nombre de niveleuse dans lesdits conduits, augmentant la qualité de l'air et la productivité des travailleurs. Cet appareil fixé sous la machinerie minière facilite le nivelage des endroits inaccessibles aux niveleuses actuelles, cette machinerie étant déjà conçue pour s'y rendre. Par son profil bas, l'invention cadre parfaitement à l'espace disponible en-dessous desdites machines. De plus, par la position de ses ancrages, l'invention s'ajuste automatiquement aux conditions du sol. Enfin, l'appareil exige aucun entretien mécanique et coûte moins cher que les niveleuses usuelles.
