A lever mated connector assembly including a housing (16) configured to mate with a header, a wire guide (10) mounted to the housing having a latch (86) with a retaining surface (96), and a lever (14) having a catch (278) with a retaining surface and being coupled to the housing for rotational movement between an unlocked position and a locked position wherein the catch retaining surface engages the latch retaining surface to inhibit movement of the lever out of the locked position. A connector position assurance (CPA) member (12) has an interengaging locking assembly (67, 73; 131, 133) connecting to the CPA member to the wire guide in a low profile configuration for movement between a first position and a second position. The CPA is attached to the wire guide by way of a dovetail interlocking arrangement comprised of dovetail slot (67a, 73a) and dovetail flange (131a, 133a). The wire guide and latch are provided with an overstress mechanism (83a, 85a; 97) to prevent over extension of the latch to a position where the latch would be plastically deformed.
L'invention concerne un ensemble de connecteur à accouplement par levier comportant un boîtier (16) configuré de manière à s'accoupler avec une embase, un guide-fil (10) monté sur le boîtier et ayant un cliquet (86) avec une surface de retenue (96) et un levier (14) ayant un taquet (278) avec une surface de retenue et étant accouplé au boîtier de manière à pouvoir tourner entre une position déverrouillée et une position verrouillée, la surface de retenue du taquet s'engageant avec la surface de retenue du cliquet pour empêcher le mouvement du levier hors de la position verrouillée. Un élément (12) assurant la position du connecteur (CPA) a un ensemble de verrouillage d'enclenchement (67, 73 ; 131, 133) reliant l'élément CPA au guide-fil dans une configuration bas profil afin de permettre le mouvement entre une première position et une deuxième position. Le CPA est attaché au guide-fil par le biais d'un arrangement d'emboîtement en queue d'aronde constitué d'une fente en queue d'aronde (67a, 73a) et d'une bride en queue d'aronde (131a, 133a). Le guide-fil et le cliquet disposent d'un mécanisme de surcontrainte (83a, 85a ; 97) pour empêcher une extension excessive du cliquet dans une position dans laquelle le cliquet serait déformé plastiquement.
