Abstract There are described levo-rotary 3-phenoxy morphinan derivatives of the general formula Image wherein R is halogen, nitro, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, hydroxy or hydrogen; R1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, -CH2(CH2)pR2 or -?-(CH2)p-R2; R2 is heteroaro- matic, axomatic or cyclo-lower alkyl; p is an integer from 0 to 3; and n is an integer from 1 to 5 and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts which are useful as analgesic and/or narcotic antagonists.
