An improved lid for controlled pressure cookers to be used with a conventional pot to cook food products, rice for instance, in a microwave oven, comprising a turning knob (1) provided with holes (2) on its top surface, which knob is adjusted by means of a lower tubular shaft (3) to turn about a central cylindrical embossment (5) provided on the lid body (4), which has openings (6) on its top surface and inside which an upward cylindrical projection of a steam condenser (9) provided with holes (14) is housed, whereas the bottom of such condenser (9) has a downward cylindrical projection provided with castellations (11) at its lowermost end inside which a cylindrical embossment having ridges (16) is housed, with a central hole projecting from a disc- shaped back lid (12).
