A lid (5, 5', 5") for a pressure cooking receptacle (1, 1', 1") supporting a jaws device for closure/opening of the receptacle (1, 1', 1"), a device for controlling opening/closure of the receptacle (1, 1', 1") and a safety device for blocking closure of the receptacle (1, 1', 1"), wherein said closure/opening device comprise a first radially retractable jaw (27, 27', 27") for securing the lide (5, 5', 5") to receptacle (1, 1', 1") and extensible for releasing the lid (5, 5', 5") from the receptacle (1, 1', 1") and at least one second jaw (21, 21', 21") integral with the lid (5, 5', 5"), and wherein moreover said control device comprises a radial arm (31, 31', 31") for moving the mobile jaw (27, 27', 27") , attached to the mobile jaw (27, 27', 27") at its radially external end, and a lever (29, 29', 29") which can be actuated manually, fitted with means which can be engaged with said radial arm (31, 31', 31") for controlling the stroke of said radial arm (31, 31', 31").

Ledit dispositif de fermeture/ouverture comporte une première mâchoire (27, 27', 27'') rétractable dans le sens radial pour fixer le couvercle (5, 5', 5'') sur le récipient (1, 1', 1''), qui peut être étendue pour dégager le couvercle (5, 5', 5'') du récipient (1, 1', 1'') ; et au moins une deuxième mâchoire (21, 21', 21'') formant une seule pièce avec le couvercle (5, 5', 5''). De plus, ledit dispositif de commande comporte un bras radial (31, 31', 31'') pour déplacer la mâchoire mobile (27, 27', 27''), fixé à la mâchoire mobile (27, 27', 27'') à son extrémité extérieure radiale ; et un levier (29, 29', 29'') pouvant être actionné manuellement, qui est pourvu d'un moyen pouvant entrer en contact avec le bras radial (31, 31', 31'') pour régler la course du bras radial (31, 31', 31'').
