A pail lid (1) having a retractable pouring spout (3). The pail lid has a neck (4) integrally formed as part of said lid and extending from the face (2) of the lid opposed to a peripheral groove. The neck has external threads (10) thereon adapted to receive a screw cap (9), and a retractable pouring spout located within said opening (16) that is movable from a pouring position to a retracted position while being retained within said neck. The spout mating with the neck at each of the pouring position and the retracted position, to retain the spout in said positions. An injection moulding process for manufacture of the lid is also disclosed.

Le couvercle de seau décrit (1) est pourvu d'un bec verseur rétractable (3). Le couvercle de seau comprend un col (4) solidaire du couvercle qui part de la face (2) du couvercle opposée à une rainure périphérique. Le col est pourvu de filets extérieurs (10) qui reçoivent un capuchon à visser (9). Un bec verseur rétractable situé dans ladite ouverture (16) peut se déplacer entre une position de versement et une position rétractée, tout en restant attaché à l'intérieur du col. Le bec est couplé au col et retenu dans celui-ci aussi bien dans sa position de versement que dans sa position rétractée. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication du couvercle par moulage par injection.
