An organizer for organizing one's business and personal life. The organizer comprises a first compartment, a second compartment adjacent to the first compartment, and an organizer book contained in the first compartment. The second compartment includes a mechanism for holding a personal activity instrument, such as a credit card, driver's license, airplane tickets, etc. The organizer book includes a plurality of record members at least one of which is a personal planning record member and at least one other of which is a business planning record member. The personal record member contains indicia specifically designed for planning a personal activity in which the personal activity instrument is to be used. The personal activity instrument may be conveniently held in the second compartment for easy access when needed to carry out the personal activity planned on the personal record member. The compartments contain zipper-type fasteners for closing the compartments.
