A lift for a snowmobile comprises a H-shaped base with a vertical post standing upwardly therefrom. A winch is carried on a bracket supported on one side of the post and the strap guide passes over the top of the post so that the strap from the winch is suspended on a side of the post opposite to the winch for lifting the bumper of the snowmobile.
