Lift Mast Carriage Assembly Abstract This invention relates to a carriage assembly for a lift mast. The carriage assembly has a frame, a pair of load supporting arms pivotally connected to the frame at spaced locations on a lower portion of the frame and pivotally connected to a guide bar slidably connected to an upper portion of the frame for permitting unitary pivotal movement of the load supporting arms relative to the frame sideways of the lift mast. The carriage assembly is compact, lightweight and requires fewer parts. Thus, capacity, visibility, component life and performance are improved. me carriage assembly is particularly useful on a vehicle such as a lift truck.
