Abstract of the Disclosure A device is disclosed for use with a lift truck for handling large loads. The truck has an open-frame carriage with two longitudinal frame girders and a lifting arm pivotally mounted on each of the girders. A lift- ing yoke is suspended between the lifting arms. The yoke is tiltable forwardly or backwardly in the longitudinal direction of the truck and is rotatable through an angle preferably greater than 90°.
