ABSTRACT The specification describes a lift-type car park with a lift and parking places for motor vehicles which places are located above and next to one another in storeys, in which car park vehicles are moved horizontally by being rolled on their own wheels with the aid of a telescopic transport arrangement located on alift platform, the particular arrangement described provides that the telescopic transport arrangement is extendable and retractable from the lift platform along a tunnel lying adjacent the position at which it is delivered for collection from the car part. in the arrangement described the telescopic transport from a rest position in which they lie with their axes parallel to the longitudinal axis of a vehicle to an operationable position in which they contact and grip one or more wheels of a vehicle to be parked.
