The invention relates to a lifting device (10), in particular semitrailer support or the like, having a shaft tube (11) and a support tube (12) which can be moved with respect to the shaft tube, wherein a lifting gear mechanism (26) is arranged on the shaft tube and has a drive shaft arrangement (27) for connecting a drive device, and has an output shaft arrangement (28) for driving a lift spindle (20) which is arranged in the support tube and which acts on a pressure plate (18) which is arranged in the shaft tube, wherein the pressure plate is located above the lifting gear mechanism.
