A wheel chair with a lifting device characterised in that the seat and the foot rest are separately mounted at the upper ends of two adjustable quadrilateral assemblies (23, 42) extending upwards from the frame and having a common movable portion (26), and in that the up-down control system (50) includes a drive unit arranged between the frame and one of the movable members of one of the quadrilateral assemblies for controlling the movement of said quadrilateral assemblies between a stable collapsed position and a stable deployed position. The device is useful in stand-up wheelchairs.

Le dispositif-élévateur est caractérisé en ce que l'assise et le repose-pieds sont indépendants l'un de l'autre et sont montés sur les extrémités supérieures de deux quadrilatères déformables (23, 42), s'élevant à partir du châssis et possédant une partie mobile commune (26), les moyens (50) de commande en élévation-abaissement comprennent un organe moteur interposé entre le châssis et l'un des organes mobiles de l'un des quadrilatères et apte à commander le déplacement desdits quadrilatères entre un état stable replié et un état stable déplié. Application aux fauteuils verticalisateurs.
