ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lifting machine has a unit comprising a motor, a gearbox and a rope drum, this unit being resiliently attached to the frame of the lifting machine in three points. The unit is mounted to the first end plate of a rigid frame with a flange element and to the second end plate of the frame with a rope drum trunnion. Two circular openings are manufactured in the first end plate of the frame. In each opening, a resilient sleeve is mounted for accommodating two mating studs of the flange element. A circular opening is manufactured in the second plate of the frame. The rope drum trunnion is journaled by a spherical bearing which is supported in a third resilient sleeve, arranged in this opening. The first and second resilient elements are arranged in a plane comprising the rotational axis of the rope drum, for taking up the distortions produced by the vibrations and the load weight.
