In order to achieve a specific visual and aesthetically pleasing appearance for a light which comprises a plastic housing (1) and, arranged within the housing (1), at least one bulb with a bulb socket (4), wherein the housing (1) is composed of a number of plates (2) and at least one plate (2) is bevelled at its outer edges (3) by an angle of 45~ and is adhesively bonded to the adjoining plates (2) in the region of their contact faces, all the plates (2) are bevelled at their outer edges (3) by an angle of 45~ and adjoining plates (2) are adhesively bonded over their whole surface in the region of their contact faces, and the lower side (9) of the housing (1) is provided with a circular opening (10) which can be closed by a base (6) or a closure cover (13) and through which the bulb socket (4) projects into the housing (1).
L'invention concerne un appareil d'éclairage comprenant un boîtier (1) en plastique, dans lequel est montée au moins une lampe dotée d'une douille (4). Le boîtier (1) est constitué de plusieurs panneaux (2), au moins un panneau (2) étant biseauté à 45° sur ses bords externes (3) et collé aux panneaux (2) limitrophes dans la zone de leurs surfaces de contact. L'invention vise à créer un objet d'aspect particulièrement esthétique du point de vue optique. A cet effet, tous les panneaux (2) sont biseautés à 45° sur leurs bords externes (3) et collés sur toutes leurs surfaces de contact aux panneaux (2) limitrophes, sur la face inférieure (9) du boîtier (1) étant disposé un évidement (10) circulaire pouvant être fermé par un socle (6) ou par un couvercle, la douille (4) de la lampe pénétrant dans le boîtier (1) par cet évidement.
