A light activated osteoinductive bone material composition which can be rapidly set, under light activation, to provide structural support, and, once set, which cannot be disturbed or moved due to bleeding, movement or pressure from the tissue flap. The osteoinductive bone material composition comprises a combination of demineralised bone matrix, hyaluronic acid and a photoinitiator composite which is hardened and set under a dental curing light. By virtue of the osteoinductive bone material composition being hardened under light activation, the need for rigid membranes to be placed over the osteoinductive bone material, as typically occurs, is eliminated.
