The light alloy wheel assembly for motor vehicles comprises a rim (2) including: a channel (4) designed to house a tire (G), a central flange (5) for fixing the rim (2) to a motor vehicle hub (M), a connection structure (6) with disc or spokes between the flange (5) and the channel (4), a false hub (3) designed to be fixed on the hub (M) and to allow fixing thereon of the flange (5), first means (10, 11, 12) of tightening and centering the false hub (3) on the hub (M), and second means of tightening and centering of the flange (5) on the false hub (3). The second tightening and centering means comprise: a plurality of centering pins (21) on the false hub (3), a corresponding plurality of bores (22) on the flange (5), a central threaded pin (23) formed on the false hub (3), a corresponding central bore (24) formed in the flange (5), a nut (25) designed to be screwed on the threaded pin (23), and a striker seat (26) for the nut (25) formed on the flange (5) around the central bore (24). Such a wheel assembly permits mounting of a single-nut wheel on the hub of any motor vehicle.

Les seconds moyens de serrage et de centrage comprennent: une pluralité de goujons de centrage (21) ménagés sur le faux moyeu (3), une pluralité d'alésages correspondants (22) ménagés sur le flasque (5), un goujon central fileté (23) agencé sur le faux moyeu (3), un alésage central correspondant (24) agencé dans le flasque (5), un écrou (25) conçu pour être vissé sur le goujon fileté (23), et une surface de butée (26) destinée à l'écrou (25) et formée sur le flasque (5) autour de l'alésage central (24). Un tel ensemble roue permet le montage d'une roue à écrou unique sur le moyeu de tout type de véhicule automobile.
