A light-emitting signalling baton comprises a handle component adapted to house a power source. The handle component has a first coupling at one end thereof and a second coupling adjacent the opposite end thereof. A flashlight component engages releasably one of the first coupling and the second coupling. A strobe-light component engages releasably the other of the first coupling and the second coupling. The couplings to which the flashlight and strobe-light components are engaged are reversible.
