Abstract Of The Disclosure A coach lamp or other exterior lamp or ornament is mounted on the exterior surface of a building having horizontal aluminum siding by means of a pedestal having a faceplate portion and a continuous peripheral skirt which is deeper than the steps in the siding. The pedestal is secured to a conventional electrical outlet box and the faceplate portion provides a flush mounting surface for the base of the lamp or ornament.
