Abstract of the Disclosure A photosensitive polycondensation product is described which comprises recurring units of each of the formulas A1 and A2 Image which are connected by bivalent members R5, wherein R1 and R2 are identical or different C1-C2 alkyl groups, C1-C4 alkoxy groups, halogen atoms or dimethylamino groups; R3 is -H, -CH3, -Cl, -OCH3, -OCH2CH3-; R4 is -H, -CH3, -Cl; R5 is -CH2-, Image wherein: R is seiected from the group consisting of CH2 and C(CH3)2, M is an aromatic radical selected from the group con- sisting of aromatic hydrocarbons, diaryl ethers, diaryl sulfides, diaryl disulfides, diaryl sulfones, diaryl amines, diaryl ketones and diaryl diketones; b is zero or an integer from 1 to about 9; D is selected from the group consisting of -CH2- or -CH2-O-CH2-;
