A light source device is provided with an LED having strong directivity, a reflective hood which has an interior reflecting surface for reflecting the illumination light from the light source, and a pair of first and second polarizing reflective plates for polarizing the illumination light from the LED in a specific direction. The first and second polarizing reflective plates have a specific length and width, and a back surface formed from a high reflectance plate. The light source is secured to the reflective hood. A specific interval is provided between the first and second polarizing reflective plates and the reflecting surface of the reflective hood, and a specific interval is provided between the two plates with the optical axis passing through the 0° direction angle of the light source in between. That is to say, the respective designated angles a of inclination are formed with respect to the optical axis so that the interval in the vicinity of the light source is large, and the interval further away is small.
Linvention concerne un dispositif à source lumineuse (3) comprenant une DEL (4) à forte directivité, un capot réfléchissant (7) présentant une surface réfléchissante intérieure permettant de réfléchir la lumière déclairage provenant de la source lumineuse, ainsi quune paire de première et seconde plaques réfléchissantes polarisantes (9A, 9B) destinées à polariser la lumière déclairage provenant de la DEL (4) dans une direction spécifique. Les première et seconde plaques réfléchissantes polarisantes (9A, 9B) présentent une longueur et une largeur spécifiques, ainsi quune surface arrière constituée dune plaque présentant une réflectance élevée. La source lumineuse (4) est fixée au capot réfléchissant (7). Un intervalle spécifique est agencé entre les première et seconde plaques réfléchissantes polarisantes (9A, 9B) et la surface réfléchissante du capot réfléchissant, et un intervalle spécifique est agencé entre les deux plaques, laxe optique passant entre les deux par langle de direction de 0° de la source lumineuse (4). Ainsi, les angles dinclinaison désignés respectifs a sont formés par rapport à laxe optique de sorte que lintervalle à proximité de la source lumineuse soit important, et que lintervalle plus éloigné soit petit.
